Sometimes it's takes awhile to remember why getting up extra early and riding your bike is worth it.

Though #MtHamilton summit was clouded up the clouds broke while I was doing the glorious 18mi descent. Probably one of the top descents in the country, so so good.

One more photo from this morning. As I hiked out I realized Nisene was nothing special but it reminded me of home, way warmer but with way more poison oak. But I could jump around from rock to slippery rock like I was 5 again.

I thought I knew what to expect to see in the #LostCoast but zebra was certainly not one of those things.

We rode till dusk to get to #ShelterCove on Tues. Lots of elevation on tough grades with touring loads. At the end of the day we both agreed to say screw camping lets get a motel. Now onto the redwoods! #LostCoast #BikeTour

Early this winter we got this little bantam chicken, she is about 1/4 the size of a standard hen. We figured she'd never make eggs worth eating. But lately this little girl has been producing a lot of very cute little white eggs.
